Cookie notice
Last updated: 22 July 2026
This notice explains what Veltronavia stores on your device and how you control it. We keep this deliberately small: nothing that profiles you loads until you opt in. This aligns with Quebec's Law 25 and CASL consent expectations.
1. Strictly necessary (always on)
To remember your cookie choice, we store a single item in your browser's local storage called veltronavia_consent_v1. It holds only your preferences and a timestamp. It sets no tracking identifier, and the site cannot function sensibly without it, so it is always on and needs no consent under the law.
2. Updates and web-push (off until you allow it)
If you choose Accept or tick the updates category, we load OneSignal to offer browser notifications. Only then does OneSignal:
- load its script from a content delivery network,
- register a service worker in your browser, and
- store push identifiers in local storage or IndexedDB.
OneSignal, Inc. is based in the United States and acts as our service provider. See the privacy policy for the cross-border transfer details, and OneSignal's own privacy policy.
3. What we do not use
No advertising cookies. No third-party analytics. No profiling or fingerprinting scripts. If you never opt in, the only thing stored on your device is the small preference item in section 1.
4. Managing your choice
When you first arrive, a banner lets you Accept, Reject (just as easily), or Customize by category. You can change your mind at any time: open the chooser again with Manage cookies, or clear this site's data in your browser. Turning updates off stops OneSignal from loading on future visits.
5. Third parties
The only optional third party is OneSignal (web-push), loaded solely with your consent. Our website host may set no cookies but does keep technical server logs, described in the privacy policy.
